Peanuts, Cold Beer, and SOLD Signs

“PEANUTS, GET YOUR PEANUTS.” I had the awesome experience of going to a St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets baseball game a couple of weeks ago! I LOVE watching baseball live and the World Series. If I cannot be at the stadium or it is not the World Series, I am not watching baseball. Being at Busch Stadium and seeing the production on display, it reminded me of what we do as The Home Sales Team. We shout out to find clients to work with and to advertise our Sellers’ properties. We aim to be professional and the best in what we do. We strive to be good community partners to enhance our area. All of this is why we are hosting a Home Sales Team night on June 18th at the New Bern Southpaws! Tickets to the game are limited, so please let us know if you would like to join us!
“PEANUTS, COLD BEER, SOUVENIRS”… everywhere I went through Busch Stadium, vendors were trying to draw attention to what they were selling. As The Home Sale Team, we may not be yelling at the top of our lungs. However, we want to bring attention to the services we offer and to our clients’ properties that are for sale! We like talking about real estate and helping others make informed decisions about real estate. We also have ears for real estate. If someone is on the other side of a noisy restaurant talking about buying or selling property, we will likely hear them and want to help. That is also why we need all our friends, clients, and family to shout out about our real estate world. We love helping you with real estate and want you to help us find others to serve!
We also must bring attention to the properties we are trying to sell. Just like the vendors, we use multiple ways to make people notice the properties we are selling. We put a lot of time and resources into marketing properties, holding open houses, and making sure deals get done. We are fortunate to have the best marketing director and team in eastern North Carolina. They help us accentuate the beautiful features of homes and ensure we are presenting properties in the best light. Then we get to yell, “homes for sale, homes for sale,” and do the job of finding buyers through many different methods. At times, we even yell at homeowners who do not have their house for sale. We let them know we may have buyers for their property when our buyers cannot find their perfect home. It is not peanuts, cold beer, and souvenirs, which sounds a lot more fun! However, a home is most people's largest investment. Because of that, we take our jobs very seriously yet have a wonderful time while doing it. We are fortunate to work with phenomenal people, helping them find their perfect home and selling their home so they can move on to the next one.
We also strive to be professionals and the best at what we do. Watching the professional baseball players at Busch Stadium, you could see the time they put into being the best at their game. At the Home Sales Team, we pride ourselves on knowing the market, understanding the paperwork and process, while providing the best service with our clients’ interests at heart. Just like professional athletes, we practice often, learn from our and others’ experiences, plus we love to get into the game. We want to be the best professional real estate agents around, so we know we must work at.
During the 7th inning stretch, a local school’s chorus came to the stadium to sing ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game.’ What a memorable experience for these young kids to have this opportunity. At the Home Sales Team, we like to be good community partners, also. We look forward to our client events, which help local businesses or organizations and give us the opportunity to see our favorite people…You! We are looking forward to our annual school supply drive coming up to help Partners in Education, who provide school supplies to children in need and the teachers. We enjoy volunteering at RCS multiple times a year to work in the warehouse, as they provide so much good for the people in need around our community. This is also why we will be collecting food for RCS on June 18th at the New Bern Southpaws game, to which you are invited. As funny as it sounds, we even have an enjoyable time picking up trash along Trent Blvd since we adopted that highway. Being a good community partner is just a small way to help make this wonderful area what it is. The people of eastern North Carolina are one of the special things that make this such a wonderful place to live. We also believe we have been too blessed not to try to be a blessing to others.
As the Home Sales Team, we do not have the budget that Busch Stadium and the St. Louis Cardinals have. However, we do our best to shout out and let people know what we are doing, to put in the work to be the best professional real estate agents around, and to be good community partners. Please reach out to us and reserve your tickets for June 18th so you can come hang out with us and cheer on our New Bern Southpaws.
