Courtney Hoffer grew up in Brice’s Creek and has always called New Bern home. After college, she chose to come back so her son, Caleb, could enjoy the same close-knit community and nearby family she loved growing up.

With a background in client service, team leadership, and interior design,
Courtney brings a practical, people-first approach to her role as Director of Relationship Development with the Team.

Outside of work, Courtney stays connected to New Bern’s creative community through her love of oil painting and mural work. She serves on the Craven Arts Council’s board of directors and its membership committee, a role that lets her support the local arts scene she cares deeply about.

She’s also an unapologetic animal lover. Over the years, her home has welcomed an ever-changing mix of rescue pets—furry, feathery, and occasionally scaly—which is probably why friends joke that she runs a small sanctuary on the side.
